Danaya Hall RN MSN WHNP-BC


Danaya Hall has been a registered nurse for 14 years, primarily in Maternal Child and Adolescent Health. She is the founding president of the Alliance of Black Nurses Association of Oregon (ABNAO). She is also a National Black Nurses Association Mini Nurse Academy Committee (MNAC) member.

Advocacy for women’s health has been a core value throughout her career that began in high school as a sexual health peer advocate, continued into medical assisting with Planned Parenthood, which led to a midwifery apprenticeship at a birth center, and finally, Nursing. Her end goal is to guide students of color on the path to nursing, serve the unique healthcare needs of BIPOC women, and empower gender-diverse folks to sustain maximum health and well-being. She appreciates spending time with her family outdoors and enjoys cooking, karaoke, and Ru Paul's Drag Race when it’s raining outside.
