On Track Jefferson High School Presentation opportunities
All grades: Wednesday 12:35 – 1:45, On Track Lunch panels (lunch provided via gift card) (would love for the 2 or 3 people from the Alliance of Black Nurses to do one of these!)

Format – informal, ice breaker question for students and presenters, - presenters introduce themselves, Katie moderates with overarching questions and taking questions from our students
Grade 10 Specific:
- Health teacher is looking for presenters who are knowledgeable in the following areas. The same presenters do NOT need to be available for all dates and time:
o Mental Health –
§ October 22 (9:15 – 10:30) and
§ October 23, (9:15 – 11:55)
o Addiction
§ November 12 (9:15 – 10:30) and
§ November 13, (9:15 – 11:55)
§ OR November 19 (9:15 – 10:30) and
§ November 20, (9:15 – 11:55)
- Format for Thursday/Friday presenters – Intro, using Padlet, will have an overarching question for students to respond to. Presenters will introduce themselves and talk about the field. If I get more info on what you’ve covered in class, we can give presenters a heads up. We can ask students to pre-prepare questions to ask presenters as well, and presenters can comment or give feedback on how students responded to the overarching question.
Grade 12 Specific – Research and Medicine class
Teacher is hoping to supplement unit on history of research in America with current “Uplifting Research” happening in present day. If there are nurses during research that would like to share with the class, the options are listed below

- Format for Uplifting research presenters – Intro, using Padlet and/or Pollev, will have an overarching question for students to respond to (Mike, will need your help with creating these to fit into your units).
